FUDECO Plateau State Chapter Exco led by State Chairman, Mal. Abubakar Salisu Gambo, have established a FUDECO Model School in Barikin Ladi LGA of Plateau State. The establishment of the school followed a demand from a community that is living very far awayy from any school whatsoever. The event was attended by the community and over 100 kids that have been registered for the school.
The state chapter has long been looking for ways on how to assist in giving much contribution to our FULBE communities here on the Plateau because of the set backs our people are experiencing in most of the communities in the state. Government schools might be not in-existence or far away for small pupils to attend or even not safe for them due to insecurity here and there.
The FUDECO Exco delegation installed the School Committee and the PTA and reviewed 6 applications from interested teachers based in the community.
FUDECO also inaugurated committees that will help in managing the school as follows:
