Annual meeting of the NGO that strives to protect the interests of the cattle rearers and Fulani in Nigeria (FUDECO) focuses this year on protecting the interest and solving the problems of the Fulani and heardmens.
Where Professor Abba Tahir who is amongst the board of trustees of the organisation says the Fulani people and heardmens have been accused for a lot amongst which includes Stealing, kidnapping and many more is in most cases is false.
In the annual meeting Dr Nafisatu Dahiru Mohammad also emphasised FUDECO does not support those acts but the necessary authority should look into cases before concluding that it’s the Fulani people that are involved.
Barr. Abubakar Ibrahim Nasir who is one of the board members and organisers of the Aunnal also explained that one of the main goals of the organisation is to help the local fulani to a archive better life and better education.
The NGO also appointed new heads whom will help make sure the government is carrying along the fulani people in achieving the privileges this given to other organizations
